MINIBASKET: Ellas, QUINTAS; Ellos, SEXTOS
Concluyó el Campeonato de España de Minibasket para las selecciones de Canarias.
En la mañana de hoy afrontaron sus partidos para decidir las plazas quinta y sexta, con sabor agridulce.
Los chicos cedieron frente a la selección de Galicia, por apenas cuatro puntos de diferencia (65-69). Siendo equipo local Canarias, estos fueron los parciales: 3/10, 10/8, 25/6, 5/23, 10/6 y 12/16.
Leo Rodríguez, con 20 puntos, fue el MVP de la selección canaria.
La alegría vino de parte de las chicas. Se alzaron con la quinta plaza del Nacional al imponerse a Cataluña por 15 puntos de diferencia (61-76).
Estos fueron los parciales, siendo Canarias el «visitante»: 12/8, 9/12, 13/7, 9/14, 8/12 y 10/23.
Las máximas anotadoras en este partido fueron Emma Ayo TCHABI, autora de 22 tantos; Martina HERNÁNDEZ (19) y Fabiola MBULITO (14)
